Swing Away Hitch

Our optional Swing Away Hitch allows you to open your tailgate or van door without removing the transport rack from your hitch! No need to remove your Riptide from the hitch. Simply pull on the swing hitch release handle and the vacuum will swing out allowing you to drop your tailgate or open your van door. The Riptide will mount offset, which will allow you to open the active van door without having to swing away your Riptide. To open both doors just pull the release to swing the Riptide off to the side.
